Pricing

You have four payment options for DaDesktop:

1. Public cloud (starting at 3 EUR per day)
2. Private server (starting at 10 EUR per day)
3. Reseller or volume purchasing (starting at 0.1 EUR per day)
4. On premise
    

Public Cloud

Desktop charges begin at 3 EUR per day for a basic Linux desktop featuring 8GB RAM, 8-core CPU, and 50GB SSD storage.

Adding an extra 8GB RAM, 8 CPU cores, and 50GB storage will cost you 3 EUR more per day.

Windows machines carry an additional 1 EUR per day. If you bring your own licence, this fee is waived.

NB Daily billing for machines is calculated within a 24-hour window starting at midnight, local server time

 

Private Server

Should you prefer fixed costs irrespective of the number of desktops you run or resources assigned to a single desktop, you can opt to purchase an entire server.

In this scenario, you are only constrained by the server's resources, not by units or desktop count.

Reseller or volume discounts

Discounts of up to 80% are on offer for reseller and volume purchases across India.

This is typically for organisations planning to:

1. Integrate DaDesktop with your product
2. Resell it
3. Purchase in large volumes
    

On-premise

The standard rate for on-premise deployment is 6 EUR per core.

Case 1

An individual uses an Ubuntu desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, 50GB storage for 8 hours in a single day. 

Total cost: 3 EUR

Case 2

An individual uses an Ubuntu desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, 50GB storage for a couple of hours each day over 5 days. 

Total cost: 5 days * 3 EUR = 15 EUR

Case 3

1. An individual uses an Ubuntu desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, 50GB storage for 1 hour
2. Desktop is removed
3. Another desktop with the identical configuration is created on the same day and used for 1 hour

Total cost: 3 EUR

Case 4

1. An individual uses an Ubuntu standalone desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, 50GB storage for 1 hour
2. Desktop is removed
3. Another desktop equipped with 16GB RAM, 16 CPUs, and 100GB storage is created on the same day and used for 1 hour

2 machines used, with different specification:

Machine 1 = 3 EUR

Machine 2 = 6 EUR

Total cost: 3 + 6 = 9 EUR

1. An individual uses an Ubuntu course desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, 50GB storage for 1 hour
2. Desktop is removed
3. Another desktop by the same participant or trainer with 16GB RAM, 16 CPUs, and 100GB storage is created on the same day and used for 1 hour

Total cost: 6 EUR 

 

Courses

For Public Cloud and Reseller options, Courses are charged to the Organization Owner based on users who created desktops throughout the course duration.

Trainers

• If the Trainer is invited to the course, the Organization Owner will be billed for the course.
• If the Trainer creates the course, the Trainer foots the bill.

• In summary, the Organization owner of the created course is billed for the course.
