PC Farm (Bare metal)

Apart from a cloud solution, DaDesktop can provide you with access to bare metal physical Desktops or Servers.

This is for one physical machine per participant scenarios and has been used in the following use cases, where participants need access to:

1. the whole server without virtualisation for performance or licence reasons (ONAP, OpenStack)
2. devices which cannot be virtualised (some GPUs, Mellanox cards where firmware related changes are a subject of the course, other network equipment, etc...)

Also, this solution can be used with an existing physical classroom with minimal modifications. This allows the trainer to prepare the classroom without needing to be physically present.

Cloud Desktop used in the cloud can be directly utilised and deployed to participants' physical machines.

Requirement for onsite deployment

This solution requires purchase of physical control cables (called ddnexus) with a cost of around 100 USD each for each Desktop.
