Trainer Recordings

DaDesktop provides multiple ways to capture recordings of desktops and course sessions. These include Troubleshooting recordings, Training Room recordings, and Trainer recordings. 

Trainer recordings are recordings of the Trainer's own DaDesktop machine. Trainers can begin a session recording of their machine as described below.

 

1. Click the three vertical dots to open a small dropdown menu. From the dropdown, choose 'Connect (with session recording)'

2. 

   An audio/video recording of the Trainer machine begins, but it cannot be played until the virtual classroom is closed, at which point the recording is generated. Note: SuperAdmin users have an extra menu option to monitor live recordings while they are in progress.

3. To view and manage the recordings, click the gear icon and open the Recordings menu.

 

Recordings

 

Trainer recordings of their own machine can be viewed in two ways.

1. Recordings can be accessed from the Recordings menu as shown above. You can play or delete them as required. The double spanner icon denotes 'Troubleshooting Recordings' (these are created automatically and are meant for diagnostic purposes, not for presentation).

  2. By using the 'Recordings' tab of a course, you can see Trainer recordings, Training Room recordings, and Troubleshooting recordings.
