Managing Servers

You can add or remove servers in your On-Premise or OEM DaDesktop cloud environment.

Managing Servers

Synchronise all system information

It checks each server's CPU, memory, and other parameters, updating the database accordingly. DaDesktop then uses this data to recommend servers to users, prioritising those with greater resources.

If you have upgraded the hardware, you may synchronise all servers or just a single one.

Please note that if the number of servers exceeds 1000, this process may take a few minutes.

Change State (Suspend, Reinstate)

Suspend a server when it becomes inaccessible. This prevents the DaDesktop GUI from checking the state of that server and its desktops.

You may use this option if a server is unavailable due to a malfunction.

Retiring Server

If you wish to stop using a particular server, you can set it to retirement mode. This prevents new desktops from being created on that server. Existing desktops can still be used or migrated to other servers.
