DaDesktop

Roadmap

DaDesktop for training roadmap

  1. Training materials organisation - Improved integration with trainer materials, user notes, presentations, etc.
  2. Auto Upscaling Desktop – Should a participant’s or trainer’s Desktop run out of resources, additional resources (CPU, RAM, Disk) will be added automatically without stopping the desktop.
  3. Real time subtitles with translations – For instance, if a trainer speaking English is teaching Japanese participants, the participants can read Japanese subtitles in real time (available for customers who have opted for "Preview features").
  4. Real time interpretation with AI – Japanese participants can listen to a real‑time Japanese interpretation even though the trainer uses English.
  5. Participant assistant –  The system assists participants during labs by suggesting the next move or alerting them when an exercise is performed incorrectly, offering much quicker feedback when a user gets stuck. This is also referred to as the Participant Assistant Agent (available in Preview features).
  6. Statistics – Course coordinators and stakeholders can view user participation data.

DaDesktop for Work (DD4W)

  1. Public Cloud – Currently DaDesktop for Work is only offered for private deployments; the aim is to make DD4W available to the general public as a public cloud service.
  2. Better encryption integration – The existing encryption setup is managed entirely by the operating system; we will allow users to integrate it with DaDesktop. A graphical interface would make the process smoother (for example, the user wouldn’t need to type a password on the machine because the system already recognises the user).
  3. Auto-switch Remote replica – The system will create or detect the nearest remote replica to minimise lag and improve the user experience.

DaDesktop Labs/Self-study

  1. The system provides user feedback on lab progress.
  2. Creator Studio – Lab creators can effortlessly edit recordings online and sync them with lab instructions, desktop templates, and other resources (already available in Beta).
